► Hadith (English): Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him): A man asked the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) about the picking up of a ‘Luqata’ (fallen lost thing). The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) replied - *“Recognize and remember its tying material and its container, and make public announcement (about it) for one year, then utilize it but give it to its owner if he comes”.* [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 3, 91]

حضرت زید بن خالد الجہنی رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے رسول الله محمدﷺ سے پڑی ہوئی چیز کے بارے میں دریافت کیا۔ آپ محمدﷺ نے جواب میں فرمایا: *"اس کی بندھن پہچان لے یا فرمایا کہ اس کا برتن اور تھیلی پہچان لے اور ایک سال تک اس کی شناخت (کا اعلان) کراؤ، پھر (اس کا مالک نہ ملے تو) اس سے فائدہ اٹھاؤ اور اگر اس کا مالک آ جائے تو اسے سونپ دو"۔* _صحیح البخاری، علم کا بیان، ٩١_

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Ek saal tak uski (Ghumshuda Cheez ki) shinakht (elaan) karwao phir us sey fayeda uthao.”*

► Hadith (Roman Urdu): Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai: Ek shakhs ne Rasool-Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) se padi huyee gumshuda cheez (fallen lost thing) ke baare mein pucha. Aap, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) ne jawab mein farmaya - *“Uske bandhan aur thailee (container) ko pehchaan lo aur yaad rakho aur ek saal tak uski shinakht (elaan) karwao, phir us sey fayeda uthao aur agar uska maalik aa jaaye to usey de do”.* [Sahih Bukhari, Ilm ka Bayan, 91]

► हदीस (हिंदी): हज़रत ज़ैद बिन खालिद अल-जुहनी (रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु) से रिवायत है: एक शख़्स ने रसूल-अल्लाह, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) से पड़ी हुई गुमशुदा चीज़ के बारे में पूछा। आप, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) ने जवाब में फरमाया - *“उसके बंधन और थैली को पहचान लो और याद रखो और एक साल तक उसकी शिनाख़्त (ऐलान) करवाओ, फिर उस से फायदा उठाओ और अगर उसका मालिक आ जाए तो उसे दे दो ।”* [सही बुख़ारी, इल्म का बयान, 91]
