“Don't curse fever because...”

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Don't curse fever because...”*
•┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈•
► Hadith (English): Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) visited Umm Sa'ib or Umm Musayyib and said - *“O Umm Sa'ib or Umm Musayyib, why is it that you are shivering?”* She replied - *“It is fever and may it not be blessed by Allah”.* Whereupon he, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - *“Don't curse fever for it expiates the sin of the posterity (children) of Adam just as furnace removes the alloy of iron”.* [Sahih Muslim, Book 32, 6244]

حضرت جابر بن عبدالله رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول الله محمدﷺ ام السائب یا ام المسیب کے پاس گئے تو پوچھا: *"اے ام السائب یا ام المسیب! تو کانپ رہی ہے کیا ہوا تجھ کو؟"* انہونے جواب میں کہا*"بخار ہے، الله اس کو برکت نہ دے"۔* آپ محمدﷺ نے فرمایا: *"مت برا کہہ بخار کو، کیوکہ وہ دور کر دیتا ہے آدم کے اولاد کے گناہوں کو، جیسے بھٹی لوہے کا میل دور کر دیتی ہے"۔* _صحیح مسلم، نیکی سلوک اور ادب کے مسایل، ٦٥٧٠_

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Bukhaar ko bura na kaho kyunki...”*
•┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈•
► Hadith (Roman Urdu): Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ke Rasool-Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) Umm Sayeb ya Umm Musayyib ke paas gaye to pucha - *“Eh Umm Sayeb ya Umm Musayyib, tu kaanp rahi hai, kya hua tujhko?”* Unhone jawab mein kaha - *“Bukhaar hai, Allah Ta'ala isko barkat na de”.* To aap, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya - *“Mat bura kaho bukhaar ko, kyunki woh door kar deta hai Adam ki aulaad ke gunahon ko, jaisey bhatti lohey ka mael door kar deti hai”.* [Sahih Muslim, Neki Suluq aur Adab ke Masayeel, 6570]

► हदीस (हिंदी): हज़रत जाबिर बिन अब्दुल्लाह (रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु) से रिवायत है की रसूल-अल्लाह, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) उम् साएब या उम् मुसय्यब के पास गए तो पूछा - *“एह उम् साएब या उम् मुसय्यब, तू काँप रही है, क्या हुआ तुझको?”* उन्होंने जवाब में कहा - *“बुखार है, अल्लाह इसको बरकत ना दे।"* तो आप, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) ने फ़रमाया - *“मत बुरा कहो बुखार को, क्योंकि वह दूर कर देता है आदम की औलाद के गुनाहों को, जैसे भट्टी लोहे का मेल दूर कर देती है।"* [सहीह मुस्लिम, नेकी सुलूक और अदब के मसाईल, 6570]
