“Every newly-invented thing in Islam is an innovation and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire.”

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Every newly-invented thing in Islam is an innovation and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire.”*

► Hadith (English): It was narrated that Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In his *Khutbah (sermon)* the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) used to praise Allah as He deserves to be praised, then he, Muhammad (ﷺ) would say: *“Whomsoever Allah Subhanahu guides, none can lead him astray and whomsoever Allah Subhanahu sends astray, none can guide. The truest of the word is the Book of Allah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (ﷺ). The worst of things are those that are newly-invented (in religion); every newly-invented thing is an innovation and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire”.* [Sunan Nasaii, Book 19, 1579-Sahih]

حضرت جابر بن عبد الله رضی الله عنه سے روایت ہے کہ رسول الله محمد ﷺ اپنے *خطبہ* میں الله کی حمد و ثنا بیان کرتے جو اس کی شایان شان ہوتی، پھر آپ محمد ﷺ فرماتے: *"جسے الله راہ دکھائے تو کوئی اسے گمراہ نہیں کر سکتا اور جسے گمراہ کر دے تو اسے کوئی ہدایت نہیں دے سکتا۔ سب سے سچی بات الله کی کتاب ہے، اور سب سے بہتر طریقہ محمد ﷺ کا طریقہ ہے۔ اور بدترین کام نئے کام ہیں، اور ہر نیا کام بدعت ہے اور ہر بدعت گمراہی ہے۔ اور ہر گمراہی جہنم میں لے جانے والی ہے"۔* _سنن نسائی، جلد ٢، ١٥٨١-صحیح_

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Deen mein naya kaam bidat hai, aur har bidat gumrahi hai aur har gumrahi Jahannam mein le jayegi.”*

► Hadith (Roman Urdu): Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ sallallahu alaihi wasallam) apne *Khutbe* mein Allah Subhanahu ki hamd aur sanaa bayan farmate, jaisa ki uska haq hai. Phir Aap, Muhammad (ﷺ sallallahu alaihi wasallam) farmate - *“Jisko Allah Subhanahu ne hidayat di usko koi gumrah karne wala nahin aur jisko Allah Subhanahu gumrah kar de usko koi hidaayat dene wala nahin. Beshak, sabse sachchi kitaab Allah ki kitaab hai aur sabse behtar tareeqa Muhammad (ﷺ sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ka tareeqa hai. Sabse buri cheez (deen mein) naye-naye kaam paida karna hai; har naya kaam bidat hai, aur har bidat gumrahi hai aur har gumrahi Jahannam mein le jayegi”.* [Sunan Nasaii, Jild 2, 1581-Sahih]

► हदीस (हिंदी): हज़रत जाबिर बिन अब्दुल्लाह (रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु) से रिवायत है की रसूल-अल्लाह, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) अपने *खुतबे* में अल्लाह सुबहानहु की हम्द और सना बयान फरमाते जैसा की उसका हक है फिर आप, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) फरमाते - *“जिसको अल्लाह सुबहानहु हिदायत दे उसको कोई गुमराह करने वाला नहीं और जिसको अल्लाह सुबहानहु गुमराह कर दे उसको कोई हिदायत देने वाला नहीं l बेशक, सबसे सच्ची किताब अल्लाह की किताब है और सबसे बेहतर तरीका मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) का तरीका है I सबसे बुरी चीज़ (दीन में) नए-नए काम पैदा करना है; और हर नया काम बिदअत है और हर बिदअत गुमराही है और हर गुमराही जहन्नम में ले जाएगी l”* [सुनन नसाई, जिल्द 2, 1581-सही]
