“Torment of grave.”/“Qabr ka Azaab.”

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Torment of grave.”*
•┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈•
► Hadith (English): Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) passed by two graves and said - *“Both of them (persons in the grave) are being tortured, and they are not being tortured for a major sin. This one used not to save himself from being soiled with his urine, and the other used to go about with calumnies (backbiting)”.* The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) then asked for a green leaf of a date-palm tree, split it into two pieces and planted one on each grave and said - *“It is hoped that their punishment may be abated till those two pieces of the leaf get dried”.* [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 73, 78]

حضرت ابن عباس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول الله محمدﷺ دو قبروں کے پاس سے گزرے اور فرمایا: *"ان دونوں (قبروں کے) مردوں کو عذاب ہو رہا ہے اور یہ کسی بڑے گناہ کی وجہ سے عذاب میں گرفتار نہیں ہیں، بلکہ یہ (ایک قبر کا مردہ) اپنے پیشاب کی چھینٹوں سے نہیں بچتا تھا اور یہ (دوسری قبر والا مردہ) چغل خور تھا"۔* پھر آپ محمدﷺ نے ایک ہری شاخ منگائی اور اسے دو ٹکڑوں میں توڑ کر دونوں قبروں پر گاڑ دیا اور اس کے بعد فرمایا: *"جب تک یہ شاخیں سوکھ نہ جائیں، اس وقت تک شاید ان دونوں کا عذاب ہلکا رہے"۔* _صحیح البخاری، جلد ٧، ٦٠٥٢_

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Qabr ka Azaab.”*
•┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈•
► Hadith (Roman Urdu): Hazrat Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) do (2) Qabron ke paas se guzrey aur farmaya - *“In dono (Qabron ke) Murdon par azaab ho raha hai aur yeh kisi badey gunaah ki wajah se azab mein giraftar nahi hain, bulki yeh (ek qabar ka murda) peshaab ke cheenton se nahi bachta tha aur yeh (dusri qabar ka murda) chugalkhor (backbiter) tha”.* Phir Aap, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) ney ek hari shaakh mangwayee aur usey do (2) tukdon mein tod kar dono Qabron par laga di aur iskey baad farmaya - *“Jab tak yeh shaakhein sookh na jaayegi, us waqt tak shayad in dono ka azaab halka rahey”.* [Sahih Bukhari, Jild 7, 6052]

► हदीस (हिंदी): हज़रत इब्न अब्बास (रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु) से रिवायत है की रसूल-अल्लाह, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) दो (2) क़ब्रों के पास से गुज़रे और फ़रमाया - *“इन दोनों (क़ब्रों के) मुर्दों पर अज़ाब हो रहा है और यह किसी बड़े गुनाह की वजह से अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार नहीं हैं, बल्कि यह (एक क़बर का मुर्दा) पेशाब के छींटों से नहीं बचता था और यह (दूसरी क़बर का मुर्दा) चुगलखोर था।”* फिर आप, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) ने एक हरी शाख मंगवाई और उसे दो (2) टुकड़ों में तोड़ कर दोनों क़ब्रों पर लगा दी और इसके बाद फ़रमाया - *“जब तक ये शाखें सूख ना जाएंगी, उस वक़्त तक शायद इन दोनों का अज़ाब हल्का रहे ।"* [सहीह बुख़ारी, जिल्द 7, 6052]
