* Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim * •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• ★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: * “Ashura (10th of Muharram) expiates the sins of the preceding year." * •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• ► Hadiths (English): ❶ Abu Qatada Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura (10th of Muharram), whereupon he, Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - * "It expiates the sins of the preceding year". * [Sahih Muslim, Book 6, 2603] ❷ Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - * "Every servant of Allah who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah, Allah would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy year's distance". * [Sahih Muslim, Book 6, 2570] •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• _ NOTE _ : 9th, 10th & 11th Muharram Fasting / Roza will b

* Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim * •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• ★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: * “Fasting on 9th and 10th of Muharram." * •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• ► Hadiths (English): ❶ Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) came to Madina and saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura. He, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) asked them about that. They replied - * "This is a good day, the day on which Allah rescued Bani Israel from their enemy. So, Musa (peace be upon him) fasted this day." * The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - * "We have more claim over Musa (peace be upon him) than you”. * So, the Prophet fasted on that day and ordered (the Muslims) to fast (on that day). [Sahih Bukhari, Book 31, 222] ❷ Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that when the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) fasted on the day of Ashura and commanded that

“The Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) forbade wailing…”

* Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim * •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• ✦ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: * “Recite this supplication, if you then die on the night, then you will die as a Muslim." * •┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈• ► Hadith (English): Narrated by Al-Baraa bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - * "O so-and-so, whenever you go to your bed (for sleeping) say this dua and if you then die on that night, then you will die as a Muslim, and if you wake alive in the morning then you will receive the reward: * ‎---- * اللَّهُمَّ أَسلَمتُ نَفسِي إِلَيكَ، وَفَوَّضتُ أَمرِي إِلَيكَ وَوَجَّهتُ وَجهِي إِلَيكَ، وَأَلجَأتُ ظَهرِي إِلَيكَ رَغبَةً وَرَهبَةً إِلَيكَ، لاَ مَلجَأَ وَلاَ مَنجَا مِنكَ إِلاَّ إِلَيكَ آمَنتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنزَلتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرسَلتَ‏‏ *    --- * Allahumma aslamtu nafsi ilaika,  wa fauwadtu Amri ilaika, wa wajjahtu waj-hi ilaika, wa alja'tu zahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika, La malja
