★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Ashura (10th of Muharram) expiates the sins of the preceding year."*
•┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈•
► Hadiths (English):
❶ Abu Qatada Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura (10th of Muharram), whereupon he, Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - *"It expiates the sins of the preceding year".* [Sahih Muslim, Book 6, 2603]

❷ Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - *"Every servant of Allah who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah, Allah would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy year's distance".* [Sahih Muslim, Book 6, 2570]

حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے آپ رسول الله ﷺ سے عاشورہ کے دن کے روزے کے بارے میں پوچھا گیاٍ۔ آپ رسول الله ﷺ نے فرمایا: *"وہ گزشتہ سال کے گناہوں کا کفارہ بن جاتاہے"۔* _صحیح مسلم، جلد ۳، ٢٧٤٧_

حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی الله تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کے رسول الله ﷺ نے فرمایا: *"جس نے الله کی راہ میں ایک دن کا روزہ رکھا اللہ تعا لیٰ اس کے چہرے کو (جہنم کی) آگ سے ستر سال کی مسافت تک دور کر دیتا ہے"۔* _صحیح مسلم، جلد ۱، ۲۷۱۳_

★ Mafhoom-e-Hadith: *“Ashura ka roza guzre huye saal ke gunahon ka kaffara hai.”*
•┈┈┈┈••✦✿✦••┈┈┈┈•
► Hadiths (Roman Urdu):
❶ Hazrat Abu Qatada al-Ansari (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) Ashura (10 Muharram) ke din ke rozey ke baare mein pucha to Aap, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya - *"Ye guzrey huye saal ke gunahon ka kaffara hai”.* [Sahih Muslim, Jild 3, 2747]

❷ Hazrat Abu Saeed al-Khudri (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya - *"Jo ek din roza rakhe Allah ki raah mein, to Allah Subhanahu uske chehre ko 70 baras ki raah tak Dojakh se door kar deta hai”.*  [Sahih Muslim, Jild 1, 2713]

❶ हज़रत अबू क़तादा अल-अंसारी (रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु) से रिवायत है की रसूल-अल्लाह, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) से आशुरा (10 मुहर्रम) के दिन के रोज़े के बारे में पूछा तो आप, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) ने फरमाया - *"ये गुज़रे हुए साल के गुनाहों का कफ्फारा है l”* [सही मुस्लिम, जिल्द 3, 2747]

❷ हज़रत अबू सईद खुदरी (रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु) से रिवायत है की रसूल-अल्लाह, मुहम्मद (ﷺ सलअल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम) ने फरमाया - *"जो एक दिन रोज़ा रखे अल्लाह की राह में तो अल्लाह उसके मुँह को 70 बरस की राह तक दोजख से दूर कर देता है l”* [सही मुस्लिम, जिल्द 1, 2713]
